USA Road Trip: Nashville

Read Part 1/2/3/4
For anyone who knows me, you'll know that I love music, and so I have always wanted to go to "music city," aka Nashville. Country music may not be my favourite genre of music, but I can certainly appreciate it, and be fascinated with its evolution and impact on the industry.

USA Road Trip: Chattanooga

Read part 1/2/3

After our one night stop over in Knoxville, we were about to make our way to Nashville. But as we did a little bit of research first, we decided to make our journey a little more exciting and stop off in Chattanooga. We didn't actually see much of the city itself, as we were there mainly to visit Ruby Falls.

USA Road Trip: Washington / Winchester

Read USA Road Trip: New York  / Read USA Road Trip: Philadelphia
Just before we left Philadelphia we picked up a rental car to make our trip that little bit easier. Instead of driving straight to our next destination of Winchester, Virginia, we opted to add a couple of extra hours onto our drive so we could stop off in Washington, DC.

USA Road Trip: Philadelphia

Read USA Road Trip: New York

Following on from our few days in New York, we packed up all of our things and headed to the Amtrak train stations so we could head to our next destination of Philadelphia. Surprisingly the train was pretty spacious, fast and had that all important wifi so we could all get our Instagram fixes.

USA Road Trip: New York

If you didn't know I travelled around America for three weeks in September with my cousin Kathryn, and our friends Izzy (who I now live with) and Justine. The first State we visited on our road trip adventure was New York, which is somewhere I had never been but always wanted to visit. After a full day of travelling, from Newcastle to Paris and then Paris to New York, we spent our first night checking out Times Square and grabbing some food from the ever trusty TGIF's. We then got an early night in order to prepare for the following day.

Oh hey! So it's been a little while since I last updated this blog, whoops! After my three week trip around America (which I can't wait to share with you all), I found out I had been offered my dream internship with Sony Music in London. After going through a series of interview rounds I was completely overwhelmed with the news, and had about a week to spend with my family and friends back home, but also to find somewhere to live. Thankfully, Izzy, who I went to America with kindly said I could live with her and her mum, and that's where I am now. I've also been in my job for about a month and I am absolutely loving it.
